Q. Who and How can I put on a rodeo?
A. Rodeo for a cause! First you find a cause to fundraise for. Then find a group of people with your same passion for the cause and you create your committee. Your committee contacts and meets with us. We make a plan and work with you every step of the way to have a successful rodeo.
What We Offer
- Arena size 100×200 – This does vary per location, however this size is the goal.
- Added Money- Added money is prize money for the contestants. The committee will provide this per event. There are 9 sanctioned events at our rodeos. The more “added money” the more incentive for the Cowboy/Cowgirl to come.
- PCA- Bo Campbell Rodeo Productions is sanctioned with The Professional Cowboy Association (PCA). The PCA is the largest rodeo association in the Southeast.
- Our rodeos provide two performances with one pay out. This means there will be different contestants each night. If necessary we will hold a slack after the rodeo performances.
- The conditions of the arena dirt matters. Dirt preparation from the committee is expected before we arrive. We will hire a professional tractor driver if the committee does not have one for the weekend, however someone will need to work the ground before our arrival. Tractor driver will prepare the dirt before the rodeo if needed. Before the rodeo begins the arena will receive one last drag. Then we will drag before the barrel racing and after the 6th barrel racer. This provides safe and fair conditions.
- Our goal is to provide two full hours of engaging entertainment. We like to keep our performances at the two hour mark.
- Committees working with the PCA are invited to our finals and committee banquet. Rodeos are voted on by contestants to be recognized for a number of different possible awards. Such as Rodeo Of The Year, or the Humanitarian Award.
